Things I learned today

When the electricity is off, the water dispenser on the refrigerator will not dispense water.

Other things that won't work without electricity--the clocks on the microwave, the coffee maker and the oven. I checked.

The human body does not consume hair. It will pass straight through and exit quite unchanged.

And little boys who play hard with their cousins and don't nap will fall fast asleep on the way home--snoring.

so cute, a sleeping little boy! Enjoy it while it lasts. And yes, that last comment just made me sound ancient and stupid but I want to have it said anyway! This from a mom whose son is almost as tall as she is and who does no such thing as nap at any time...

Hope you had a great weekend Dori!!!

Hair?? That is so gross...especially when it isn't fully "extruded" when you find it :)

And it's scary to open the refrigerator when the electricity comes back on. That goes for the freezer too. And that fear increases exponentially the longer the power stays off!

Just a stray thought mind you.

Marit, not ancient--just a mom who started a little earlier than I did!:) And, Gina, I love it when they sleep too!!

Donia, you've seen my camera--you know it can't handle the action shots! I'll throw in some blurry ones to show the other side!

Jules, sounds more like the voice of experience than a stray thought! :D Thanks for stopping by!
