My drug of choice

Once again my suppliers came through. My dad snuck into a liquor store in Nairobi and scored a bag of Chevda for me. While I actually can find this in Indian grocery stores here, it just doesn't taste the same. So, thanks Dad for supporting my habit.

And now I have Jacob hooked. Yes, I know--I'm a lousy mom!

I can see we need to be better friends. :)

You are not a lousy mom, you are exposing your child to different cultures, (wink).

It's kind of like sweet tea in the North, they don't make it right no matter where I go up here, but go down south and it's perfect almost every time :o)

Have a great night!

Typical. I show up with the good snacks and everybody wants to be my friend. :D

Gina, I have just the opposite problem. I detest sweet tea! It's like I'm speaking a different language trying to order un-sweet tea at the drive-thru here. I always have to taste it to make sure--and heaven help the help who simply dumps out the vile tea and re-uses the cup!

Sounds yummy! I wish you could add the taste to a blog so I could try some!

LOL Dori,
That is to funny. I love Green Tea so much, but I still have to have a little sugar in it. Over the years I've tried to ween down little by little, but I never could aquire that plain tea taste.

The Chevda sounds yummy. To bad I can't cyber taste.
