Three years...gone in a blink...

Last Friday was the wee girl's 3rd birthday. Again...where did the time go? I can't even begin to imagine life without this little whirlwind in it...

She got her wish...a purple and pink fairy castle cake...and, needless to say, she was delighted!

She's had a week of doctor's appointments. All routine things...three year checkup and the eye exam she now gets every four months. Everyone declared her Well and Healthy. She's actually gaining weight...growing taller...losing some of the clumsiness we had just assumed was part of her makeup. We've been through a lot with this little one--not just in the past six months either, though this year has by far and above been the toughest.

I love you, Kyleigh Gray...all the way to the moon...and back.

We love that around here too.

Good gracious how they grow so fast. What a sweet picture of the tiny fluffy head! Awwwww!

I think we must be in the parental time warp. Then, we're going to wake up one day, and wonder when they went off to college.

And we will annoy them with clockwork visits, care packages, $20 bills slipped into coat pockets, and rolls of quarters for laundry snuck into sock drawers.

You are a stupendous Mama with every word, and every gesture. Your children are, without a doubt, growing up knowing they are adored.

And you say you don't cook, but you do _this_ cake?? Holy guacamole!! The talent is off the charts, pal!

Muah! Love you, Kate! And I Bake...and bake well...very different from Cooking. Somehow. It is. And the decorating has everything to do with being an artist in desperate need of an outlet...nothing at all to do with kitchen skillz. Besides, I'm spoiled rotten being married to a fabulous cook. :)

Thanks, Sooz and Pawses! I'm just now taking a breath and getting back to my comments. Slacker...I know.

And, yes, Kyleigh is just as adorable as she is adored. We love her to pieces. Even when she's throwing one of her epic tantrums!
