Movie quotes I've used on my children today...

Come Nadia! Let us dance like children of the night!

There can be only One!

Stay on target! Stay. on. target!

Run away! Run away!

Nice. Hopping.

You have chosen...wisely.

One day they will realize that I have no original material. They will either be hurt or impressed. Maybe both. I'll probably tell them to add it to their growing list of grievances to be shared with the therapist.

And at supper my beloved First Born asked what a Geek was. I started to offer a snarky reply about looking in a dictionary and seeing his dad's picture. But, really...it'd be a family portrait, wouldn't it?

We use the "Stay on target" one just about every night at dinner. I'd also have to add:

"As you wish."

"Have fun storming the castle."

"It's ok. A lot of fish are delay fish."

:)

Ah...good to see "geek" is apparently genetic! :) Remind me to hide the spoons at the next gathering...

oh, Chris...I shall have to use that one next time someone won't put on sunscreen! And should I not admit that my older 2 have seen the movie?? "Run away, run away" and "you will be" are two with frequent use in our house.

HAH! This reminded me of when I was first dating my husband and he kept using these super cool lines.

Not until years later when I finally watched Tombstone with him did I realize that most of his material was from Doc Holliday.

He would also quote Army of Darkness a lot (unbeknownst to me at the time) and I must say I'm relieved that he didn't think that material up.

Now all this place needs is a giant poster of Atlantic City...oh, you've got one!

Natalie, the mere fact that you can quote "So I Married An Axe Murderer" back to me is stunning!

In my household we say "ee-ville, like the fru-its of the de-veel" quite regularly.
