it's been cold, and freezing and snowing on and off for seven weeks now, here in Holland. It's a record. But I don't mind. I much prefer real cold to grey soggy winters that are only wet and gloomy. And I think I will appreciate spring that much more when it shows its face!
Ah, I can relate all too well! It was a balmy 32 degrees today and we were all in light jackets after facing negative temps. Good thing I've been taking Vitamin D to get over the blues that come with the winter snow!

My patience is wearing thin with this whole winter thing, too. Loved the second cartoon...my poor husband probably thinks I'm at least that loony.
This snow has got to go! Woke up this morning and out of no where we had 2 inches. Mr weather man told us not to expect anything til Saturday.
