we shared parties without needing too much therapy after.)

And the conversation I enjoyed with the firstborn this afternoon whilst watching "Return of the Jedi"...
Mommy, Luke's dad only burned up, right? He was only mostly dead, right?
And the remainder of the movie was narrated in my head by Miracle Max...thus forever joining together two of my all time favorites.
AND...today was National Geek Pride Day.
Yep...the days are just packed.

Dang. I wish I'd known it was Geek Day. I would've baked a geeky cake.
Meh. *Every* day around here is Geek Day.
I think I'm the only person in the universe who never liked "Star Wars" tho my son was an absolute fanatic...the first movie came out when he was a babe and we had all the figures, villages, blah, blah, blah. Hard to believe it's been that many years, tho. And the love of it has been passed down to the next generation, as far as the play figures go. The grandboys have some of the smaller ones but it's a BIG Lando Calrissian guy they dig out of the toy bins and play with regularly.
