Sheesh...Police wives...

We're just not normal, are we? And this reminds me...I'm way overdue for an other ride-along. Oooh, and Sean picks up his new police truck when he gets back...sweet!

Happy Sunday!

Hah! Usually any little bit of excitement happens, and I can't get my hubby to shut up! We're in a small town though and he's only been working for 2 years, so it's still very exciting.

Fun comic!

No thanks! My husband gets spit on cussed at and told that they wish he got a bullet in his brain and that they are are going to hunt down his family and do unspeakable things to his wife. Think I'll save the ride-alongs for his non-cop buddies. Or maybe I could ride-along with another cop but not him? Ewww, he also got flashed some smelly disgusting large genitals the other day in booking. Again, no thanks! Happy to be 20 miles away in my suburban pregnant mommy bubble :)

Mine won't take me on a ride-along, and where I used to be sad about it over the years I'm more relieved now. With the stories I hear daily...not sure I want to see that side of people. I prefer to live in my fantasy world where everyone is basically good. LOL

Most of his department doesn't want me on ridealongs, as somehow I've come to be known as "Bad Luck Schleprock". If I'm riding, NOTHING is happening. Probably the last 3 ridealongs, when I finally gave up and went home, they had a high-speed pursuit and live-alarm burg and riot at the strip club.

Although now they say "Have her come along and then leave at about midnight, so the fun will start".

I have never got to go on a ride along.. :( Josh has been in 5 chases. He comes home and tells me every detail. So I kinda feel like I've been on one. But honestly, when ever we go anywhere I feel like I am in a high speed chase. When I tell him to slow down he says "I've been trained." and I say "This car doesn't have lights on the top of it!"

That's funny. Is that a regular comic strip about police? Or just a random one time thing.

Mrs. Fuzz, it's a regular strip about a large, extended family--but this couple are main characters...she's a nurse and his dad was a cop as well. Kids play prominently as well. Yeah. I'm a comic junky. You may have noticed.
