There was heat.
And a new battery installed in the Jetta.
And she looked out at the snow flurries from the warm comfort of her home, and it was good.

I was a little premature on the whole "new battery" bit...apparently the '00 Jetta battery is a special order. Delightful. But we still have heat! We are now free to move about the house.

Yes...heat is good! :) The heat pump guy mentioned again today that he couldn't understand how the short didn't start a fire. I told him I knew a Guy.
I think I know that same Guy.
